Letterpress is a centuries old artisanal printing technique in which a raised plate or metal or wood type is inked then pressed into paper. Each piece of paper is hand-fed & printed one at a time & one color at a time. Each printed piece is unique & beautiful in its simplicity. It is a one-of-a-kind experience to see the bright colors pop & feel the impression on soft, tree-free paper. Each piece of paper is hand-fed one-by-one & one color at a time.

parrott design studio is home to a Golding Jobber No. 6 from 1898 & a Kelsey Excelsior 6 x 10 from the early1900s. Over 1000 pounds of cast iron is a thing of beauty. I am always on the lookout to add a few extra pounds!
